SHAPE & SHINE

Sometimes the raffia or hair on your Balinese mirror can get a little out of shape —for example, after transport, moving, or when the mirror has been stored for a while. This is perfectly normal and, thankfully, very easy to fix!

Don't worry 🌞 – with a little steam and a soft comb, you can get it back in shape in no time. Your mirror will radiate that fresh, natural Balinese look again. We'll show you step-by-step how to easily do it yourself. 🌴✨

Mirror Steam

What you need: a clothes steamer (or iron with a steam function).

Hold the steamer a few inches from the raffia and gently move it along it. The gentle steam will soften the hair and help it fall back into shape. Note: Do not wet the raffia, a little steam is enough.

Mirror Combs

You will need: a coarse, wide comb (e.g. a wooden comb).

After steaming, you can gently comb through the raffia. Start from the center outward and work gently in the direction of the hair. This will help the mirror hair regain its natural, airy shape.
